Going to give her a more Venetian mask look when I retry it.
My friend is playing a Pirate Archivist (someone who goes around “collecting” artefacts and forbidden lore) in an upcoming Black Crusade game, and the Indiana Jones jokes are only just starting.
I had a dream that things like this with weird gear machine parts and flayed flesh were everywhere. They had these really long talons and were quite tall but lithe. The most memorable thing about them was that they didn’t have any eyelids so they just had this continual, unbreaking stare.

As your eyes turn upon what you originally thought were but cracks or aberrations upon the wall of the cavern your mind reels as it tries to comprehend their form. No human script matches these mad scrawlings in shape, arrangement, or complexity. Their form seems alien and all together too complex to make any sense of. You move on, deeper into the cave, your mind trying to wring any sense of the symbols it can, but continually coming up with nothing, save unsettling thoughts that you press back and dismiss as silly and preposterous…
